All That Dance students are trained in RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) ballet syllabus from Pre-Primary through to Gr.6 as well as vocational Graded exams from Intermediate Foundation to Advanced 2. The RAD is one of the largest examining and teacher education organisations for classical ballet in the world. Both Graded Exams and Assessment exams are available to students, but are not compulsory. Classical ballet provides a fundamental dance base and is strongly recommended for those who are serious about pursuing a vocation within dance.
We train students using JazzAddict Australasia (Jazz). This syllabus is exciting and stimulating. Strong technique and presentation skills are encouraged. Classical technique, jazz arms, floor work, isolations, travelling progressions, turns and leaps form the foundation exercises for the syllabus. Amalgamations include jazz, musical theatre, lyrical (from Elementary) and contemporary (from Intermediate). Students are supported and encouraged to choreograph their own work with Impromptus included in syllabus work (Primary and Junior levels) and Student Choreography (from Elementary levels)
Urban Ignition is a fresh syllabus with strength and ‘flava’. The syllabus provides a technical base in hip hop with a strong style element and room for creative solo and crew choreography. Technical amalgamations incorporate arm and foot combinations, travels and turns, isolations, tutting and floor work. Freestyle and crew choreography are incorporated to allow freedom of ideas. Urban Ignition Hip Hop is set to today’s freshest music.

AcroDance is a beautiful fusion of the artistic motion of dance and the athleticism of acrobatics. AcroDance is not the same as gymnastics. An AcroDancer must complete all of the skills on the hard stage without the advantage of a sprung floor, whilst seamlessly integrating musicality, emotional expression, extension, control and line.We are excited to announce All That Dance is now a certified studio in the Acrobatic Arts Program. The Acrobatic Arts program is designed to promote excellence in flexibility, strength, balance, limbering, tumbling, basic contortion, and partner/group stunting for dancers. Through thoughtful progressions, teachers will introduce new skills as the dancer has trained his/her body for the skill and is ready for it. This greatly reduces the potential for injuring, creates more technically correct work, and helps dancers to progress more quickly (in the long run). Students will work on both tumbling mats and the studio floor in class. It is highly encouraged that students take dance classes as well acrobatics classes. For safety reasons all students are also required to wear form fitting dance attire and hair must be in a bun or braids for class.
