Happy New Year! Once again the holidays are coming closer to an end we can get back to another fabulous year of Singing, Dancing, Tumbling and Performing. We are looking forward to seeing everybody again.
TERM 1 CLASSES WILL START ON SATURDAY JANUARY 28TH AT 9.00am

2023 TIMETABLE
Is on the website, allthatdance.com.au Please register for your classes online, or if you have queries about classes for 2023 just send me an email via the website. Please be sure that All That Dance has your current email address along with your registration for all correspondence and for invoicing. Current fees are also on our website. Please be aware that invoices will generally go out with the first 2 weeks of each term, and if you have not received your account in this time, please contact us.

GUIDELINES FOR ACRO LEVELS
In 2023 we will continue with the Acrobatic Arts syllabus and all levels will be progressing to the next level throughout the year. It is recommended if you have previous taken acro classes, to re enroll in the same level as you were for 2022, and as usual Bella, Kayla and Mia will be assessing everyone in the first two weeks of term 1 to advise of any changes necessary (unless you have been already advised of a new level).
Beg/Junior Tumbling – 5-8yrs Level 1 – Wed 4.15-5pm
Junior Adv Tumbling – 6-9yrs Level 2 – Sat 11.30-12.30pm
Prep Acro – 9-12yrs Level 3 – Thurs 3.30-4.30pm
Intermediate B Acro – Level 4 Thurs 4.30-5.30pm
Intermediate A Acro – Level 5 Sat 12.30-1.45pm
Advanced Acro – Level 6 Friday 5.15-6.45pm
More detailed info can be found under Latest News on website. It is important to comply with level requirements . Our main focus is strength with flexibility (for safety reasons). Students are encouraged as with all classes to work outside of lessons on these crucial elements.


SCHOOL NEWS
– CONGRATULATIONS TO BOTH KAYLA WONG AND MIA HENRY FOR RECEIVING HONOURS FOR THEIR JAZZ ADDICT DANCE TEACHERS EXAMS AT THE END OF 2022 AND THANK YOU TO THE STUDENTS AND PARENTS WHO HELPED OUT ON THE DAY!
– PLEASE REMEMBER THAT BARE FEET (EXC ACRO AND CONTEMPORARY), UNTIDY HAIR, AND SCHOOL UNIFORMS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR ANY CLASSES.
– WE WILL CONTINUE TO ADHERE TO ALL COVID SAFE REQUIREMENTS – HAND SANITISER, CLEANING PROPS, MAXIMUM NUMBERS, AND ALL NEW STUDENTS WILL NEED TO BE ON OUR DATABASE WITH FULL CONTACT DETAILS BEFORE ATTENDING ANY TRIAL LESSONS.

READY SET DANCE
In 2023 ATD is continuing – READY SET DANCE, for 2-5yrs, with 3 weekly classes. Ready Set Dance is an exciting one hour combo class that includes jazz, tap, hip hop, singing, music and a whole lot of fun for girls and boys. Ready Set Dance was the winner of the Best National Activity for preschoolers. The program focuses on developing the 3 C’s – CONFIDENCE, CO-ORDINATION AND CREATIVITY! Classes are TUESDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS 2.45-3.30pm and SATURDAYS 9-10am

HAVE YOU ALL SEEN THE ‘MATILDA THE MUSICAL’ MOVIE ON NETFLIX?? IT’S WELL WORTH A LOOK FOR ALL THE FAMILY – BUT BE WARNED – IT CAUSES PLENTY OF SINGING AND DANCING AROUND THE HOUSE. IT MAY ALSO INTEREST YOU IN OUR MUSICAL THEATRE AND OR SINGING CLASSES AS PER BELOW:-

MUSICAL THEATRE CLASSES
For those of you after a fun mix of jazz dance with plenty of acting and characterisation, we will be continuing with the Encore Theatre Dance syllabus and will have the following levels
Level 3/4 for 7-9yrs – Fridays 4.30-5.15pm
Level 6 for 10-12yrs – Thursdays 5.30-6.30pm
Level 7 for 13yrs and over – Wednesdays 6-7pm

SONG AND DANCE CLASSES
This year we will continue with the two Senior classes, we have one on Tuesdays and one on Wednesdays to chose from (so that students who take other classes at the same time still have an option). We will also be keeping the Junior class at an age group of 5-8yrs, and Intermediate 8-12yrs, and Chrissy may move some older Intermediate students into Senior once term begins. If you are interested in trialling a Song and Dance class please check the timetable for lesson times and let me know.

2022 CONCERT DVDS/USBs
DVD/USB orders were previously available for collection from the studio on Dec 16th. If you were unable to collect your then, I will have them to hand out in class in Term 1. Please ask your teacher as beginning of term can be busy.
