End of Term 1 News
Term 1 has gotten off to a great start, it is great to see our new Lyrical & Cheerdance classes are so popular.
MOVING TO NEW STUDIO SPACE!!!
As many of our previous families are aware we will soon be moving to our new studio space, just across the road – 803 Waterworks Rd (Cnr of Bennett rd and the Ashgrove Golf Course).Entry to the car park is on Bennett Rd, less traffic and more off street parking. Studio One is upstairs and Studio Two downstairs, with bathrooms and waiting area and water cooler. The larger signing room and kitchen area is on the right before the dance studios.
From the start of Term 2 (Monday 15th April) all classes will be held at the new address. We are very excited about this move as it will bring some great opportunities for students, including our Aerial Arts students beginning work on the Hoop and Silks apparatus.
IMPORTANT CAR PARK REMINDER!
We do need to remind everyone of the need to take care in the current car park area at 10 Payne Rd. Obviously there are busy pick up and drop off times, but please, for the safety of all, remind students to wait in the designated drop off and pick up areas if you are entering the car park, drivers take extra awareness of your surroundings and stick to the designated 5Km zone.
PAYMENTS & INVOICING
If you have not yet received your Term 1 invoice, please first check your junk/spam folder. If it still cannot be found please contact Lisa and I can send through a new one. PLEASE NOTE: WE HAVE A NEW BANK ACCOUNT TO MAKE ALL FUTURE PAYMENTS TO. New bank details are clearly marked on your invoice, please save these details for all future payments. Pay close attention when transferring as payment made to the wrong account in Term 2 will not be honoured.
UNIFORM & CLASS ATTIRE
It is important that students wear the appropriate clothing and footwear to classes. Jazz shoes must be worn to Jazz classes and Ballet shoes must be worn to Ballet classes. Please note that anyone consistently attending class disregarding uniform and footwear requirements in Term 2 will not be allowed to participate until correct clothing and footwear are worn. These rules are in place for a reason and for everyone, not just some students.
We have a very limited supply of 2nd hand tap shoes for sale. If you are needing Jazz or Ballet shoes you can buy them from any of the following stores:
Ditto Dancewear at Chermside, Bloch at Emporium Fortitude Valley or Sue’s Shop at Indooroopilly.
EASTER BREAK
Term 1 will finish on Thursday March 28th at 7:00pm.
Term 2 starts on Monday 15th April at 3.30pm.
